Responsibilities
- Administrative support to the Mayor and Board of Trustees
- To record meeting minutes for all village boards and committees.
- Maintain village records, written laws and ordinances
- Custodian of all village records, books, papers, and corporate seal
- Responds to all complaints and FOIL requests
- Prepare and collect annual tax bills
- Prepare property tax searches
- Maintaining accounts of all receipts and expenditures
- Prepares and administers the annual operating budget
- Ensures accuracy of recording and posting to all accounts
- Prepares and computes weekly payroll
- Prepares abstract report and vouchers for payment
- Maintains employee records including salary, attendance, retirement and health benefits

Village Clerk's office hours are 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday; (Summer Hours between June 1st and August 31st are Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm).

JULY 2 - JULY 31 | Tax Bills are due PLUS 5% interest
AUGUST 1 - AUGUST 15 | Tax Bills are due PLUS 6% interest
AUGUST 16 - SEPTEMBER 2 | Tax Bills are due PLUS 6% interest + $2.00
SEPTEMBER 3 - SEPTEMBER 30 | Tax Bills are due PLUS 7% interest + $2.00
OCTOBER 1 - OCTOBER 31 | Tax Bills are due PLUS 8% interest + $2.00
NOVEMBER 1 - NOVEMBER 15 | Unpaid Village Taxes are surrendered to Onondaga County
Payment is NO LONGER ACCEPTED at the Village
Tax Bills are due PLUS 14.45% interest made payable to:
Onondaga County Finance Department, Chief Fiscal Officer,
PO Box 1004, Syracuse, NY 13201-1004. Office Hours 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

- By Check or Cash at the Village Office. Summer Hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM/ Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Hours after 9/1 are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- By Check only in the Village Drop Box* located at both entrances of the Village Office's

$50 for residents and $100 for non-residents.
4. How do I order a tax search?
Tax search requests can be sent in writing to 1 Arkie Albanese Ave., Manlius, NY 13104. There is a $25.00 charge for a tax search, checks payable to: Village of Manlius.

5. How do I obtain copies of records under the Freedom of Information Law (FOIL)?
The Village Clerk is the Village Records Access (FOIL) Officer. You send your request to the Village Clerk with the description of the record you are seeking. A service charge will be applied based on the request.
6. What time do the fireworks start on the 4th of July?
Celebration starts at 4:00 PM with food trucks. Parade is at 5:00 PM and entertainment at the Village Amphitheater starts at 6:00 PM ending with fireworks at dusk. Hope to see you there!
